Notes: Passengers were not numbered on this manifest, numbers have been assigned. Transport of about 350 passengers, mostly Germans and Americans;15 Swedes onboard. New York Daily Tribune, 19 July 1858, p 8: Steamship Austria (Ham.), Heyettmam, Hamburg 1st inst., Southampton 4th inst., mdse. and 361 pass. to Kunhardt & Co. Had heavy W. gales and fog the entire passage. Saw nothing of the telegraph fleet.
